Temp. control of heat transfer fluids - especially for moulding tools for plastics or metal alloys

Heating or cooling system whereby a heat transfer fluid passing through a mould block is circulated by a pump drawing from a temp. controlled reservoir, where the returning fluid re-enters and leaves the reservoir via manifolds which cause the flow to purge the surfaces of the internal heaters in the tank, to prevent stagnant overheating and scale deposit adjacent to the heater surfaces, reducing system maintenance and down time.
