<p>1359062 Vulcanizing halogenated isoolefin/ multiolefin copolymers POLYSAR Ltd 11 May 1972 [ 9 June 1971] 22097/72 Heading C3E Rubber comprising a halogenated copolymer of an isoolefin and a multiolefin is vulcanized using as vulcanizing agent a 4-morpholinyl-2- benzothiazole disulphide of formula wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are hydrogen or C 1 to C 4 alkyl. Examples are given in which chlorobutyl rubber or bromobutyl rubber, alone or mixed with one or more of natural rubber, EPOM rubber and butyl reclaim is vulcanized using the disulphide of the above formula in which R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are hydrogen and other agents.</p> |
