An electrical terminal connector for crimping onto an insulated electrical conductor, comprising a trough-shaped ferrule, an insulation piercing element, such as a group of spikes, projecting from the side walls of the ferrule, and conductor engaging means, such as dimples, projecting into the space and located in co-operating juxtaposition with respect to the element, the side walls during crimping being rolled inwardly so that the conductor engaging means engages the conductor and the element pierces the insulation to make electrical contact with the conductive core of the conductor.
