The separator 91 is shown in detail in Fig. 3, the gases being bubbled therethrough to condense hydrocarbons, tars and solids being removed at 129. A seal pot 101 is provided. The eliminator 147, see Fig. 4, comprises a water-filled annular chamber 157 into which the gases pass through holes 171 in cylindrical spaced walls 163 in passing from an inlet 149 to an outlet 151 the walls 163 being mounted on a vertically adjustable plate 161.</p> |
