The invention is related to separation of dispersed particles from gases using inertial or centrifugal forces and can be used in air supply systems for gas turbine propulsion plants of ships and air-cushion amphibian vehicles, and in air supply systems for power plants with powerful internal combustion engines of various types used in stationary or mobile facilities operated under conditions of highly polluted atmospheric air. An increase in degree of cleaning to 98.2%, including cleaning of fine particles having sizes of 5.0 to 30.0 μm, in accordance with the invention, is provided by that in a vortex separator comprising a cylinder casing, a blade apparatus made of composite materials and having guide blades, a cone having belts of tangential slots with deflector baffles, and a window in the lower part of the cylinder casing communicating with a dust collector, the upper portion of the guide blade profile of the blade apparatus has a coating of active dielectric material that accumulates an electric charge when streamed by air-dust flow to provide agglomeration of fine particles. |
