A reversing cam drum for textile machines, particularly for quick traverse winders, the drum having a helical double groove, a central guide rail between the grooves, and including a traveller which traverses a thread guide and is guided within the double groove. The opposite threads of the double groove are interconnected by sinusoidal transition curves at the reversing points at each end of the drum.
