<p>The current take up from each rail follows by the means of pick-up units in the form of tongs which closely surround the corresponding rail. The rail consists of a six sided prism whose three symmetric side areas form three contact paths. The pick up unit is circular with an opening which partly surrounds the rail as far as the isolating support and carries three slip shoes flexibly mounted central to the rail. The rail and corresponding pick up may take a circular triangular, square or polygon shape.</p>
