<p>The support cable is gripped by the U-section of a flat plate which has a bolt hole, a slot and a cut-out slot at the bottom end. The cut-out slot has a turned over tag to support the cable loop of the lower support cable which holds up the electric wiper cable. The other slot serves to locate the turned over edge of a convex pressure plate which is bolted to the main plate and when splayed out by the bolt presses against the support cable with a profiled lip. The clamp has only three components and is simple to assemble and adjust.</p> |
