The machine incorporates a block for separating wooden panels or plywood sections, thrust against the rotating cutter, the elongated horizontal main shaft of which is set in a revolving mounting in casings fixed on the base structure. The tubular segments, flanged together, are arranged round the shaft, with fixing sockets keyed on it, and it has two opposite elliptical plates fixed to the flanges of the outermost segments. The shaft may also have sets of radial arms between pairs of adjacent flanges, connected to a common L-shaped support bar with ends fixed to the inner surfaces of the elliptical plates, with a rear cutter blade structure between the plates at the end of each set, vertically adjustable by set screws.
