Apparatus converts an ice or snow sports apparatus into one for artificial tracks, and has an elongate carrier with a horizontal flat section whose upper side is to receive and attach the sports apparatus, and whose underside bears two vertical cheeks of equal length, symmetrical to the midline of the horizontal section; wheels, or pairs of wheels, are fitted between or on both sides of the two cheeks. Pref. there is a reinforcing part between the two vertical cheeks. The apparatus may be integral with the outer sole of a ski-boot. The wheels are fitted to shafts, which go through bores at the ends of the cheeks. The carrier is 20-120 cm. long, and the spacing between two shafts is 8-25 cm. |
