<p>Recuperator associated with radiant tubes entering and leaving through coalls of a furnace has a central smoke passage as an extension of the exit branch, surrounded by an air circulating jacket supplied by a burner in a corresponding entry branch. The wall of the passage is provided with elements increasing the exchange surfaces on the smoke circulation such as well as on the air circulation side. The system has the advantages of releasing less smoke and of improving the heat recovery of preheated input air.</p> |
