<p>The lock body (12) is externally notched to house a block (26) of insulating material which in turn houses two contact elements (34, 54). One contact (34) is fixed and in permanent contact with the conductive body (12) and the other (54) has a mobile blade spring (56) which is engaged by an axially sliding contact rod (24) to complete an electric circuit between the contacts via the contact rod (24) and the body (12), the other ends of the contacts being connected through an alarm. The body (12) is of oval cross section with a stepped notch on the upper surface receiving the insulator block (26) secured by a bolt (32). Tampering with the lock moves the contact rod to complete the alrm circuit.</p> |
