Identity cards with coloured photographs - made in camera device using photosensitised card material

A process and equipment for producing coloured photograph identity cards exposes to an image a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer which can produce a diffusible colour picture, a coloured picture is produced on the layer which, suitable treatment agent, is then transferred to a sensitised layer on a card capable of accepting a diffusible colour picture and made of PVC or vinylidene chloride-acetate mixed polymer. The photograph does not deteriorate with age or under light and has excellent mechanical and thermal durability.
