Fold closing machine for pipe lines - features high friction between drive roller and workpieces for distortionless joining

Fold closing machine, especially for closing pipes and segment pipe arcs for room ventilation where, because of the design of the drive roller there is no need to drive the counter roller, as the friction force between drive roller and the two workpieces is so great that the fold is closed without distortion and the workpieces and the counter roller are taken along by the movement of the working roller. The workpieces are thus passed without distortion through the two flanks of the roller side in the working roller. The drive is through a gear motor fixed to an arm, via two sprockets and a chain and allows joining of 1500 mm pipes to required lengths.
