Folding chair with 2 mutually crossing and pivoted-together support, one jointed to the seat part at the front and supported on the floor at the rear in the folded-joint position, and the other then supported on the floor at the front and extending above the seat part and carrying a backrest, which is jointed at the top end of the support part, projecting over the seat part and at the rear end of the seat part, at the bottom. The seat is optimally supported, giving high stability, with a double triangle connection between the individual folding parts.
