Goods batch binding system - uses guide tube to place wire round side and top of batch

The system is particularly for tying bales of cellulose material, one or more wires being wrapped round the bale. Each wire is inserted above or below the bale from one side through a tube, and emerges at the other side. The tube, together with the portion of wire still inside, is then moved sideways to the top or bottom of the bale, and thrust, again complete with the wire inside it, through to the other side of the bale. A number of tubes can be provided so as to place several wires in position at the same time, and the length of each tube can be at least equal to the bale width. Rollers can be provided in the tube ends for guidance of the wire.
