Scraper for pig carcase depilating machine - reinforced with two layers of steel cord

Scraper for rotors in machine used to depilate pig carcases comprises reinforced rectangular rubber plates fitted with fixing holes in which the strengthening inserts are reinforced by two layers of steel cord running the length of the plate. The cord layers are pref. sepd. by at least 1/3. of the thickness of the plate and may be arranged with respect to the rotor axis to form a wedge. The rubber plates are strengthened and their useful life extended.
