The title cpds, of formula (I): (where R1 is 2-18C opt. branched alkyl, haloalkyl, phenylalkyl, phenyl, mono- or dichlorophenyl, mono- or dinitrophenyl, trimethoxyphenyl or a 6-membered heterocyclic ring contg. N1 and R2 and R3 are independently 1-4C opt. branched alkyl or phenyl, or NR2R3 forms a 6-membered heterocyclic ring contg. O and N) are prepd. by reacting a carboxylic acid of formula (II): with a) simultaneously phosgene and a sec. amine of formula (III) opt. in an inert solvent, at 50-150 (pref. 80-100) degrees C or (b) a carbamoyl chloride of formula (IV): at 100-300 (pref. 110-220) degrees C, and sepg. (I) from the reaction mixt.
