Catch net, especially for aquaria, whose net has combining points where the net sections are held together by connected strips, which are arranged on both sides and adhere in the net mesh. At least one of these strips is fixed in the longitudinal and transverse direction. The net sections overlap in the region of the combining points. Specifically the strips are connected by hot sealing. Preferably the strips have a double layered construction consisting of an adhesion promoting layer and a strengthening layer consisting of a fleece material. The strengthening layer also prevents elongation of the strips during hot sealing.
