The spring suspension for seats comprises several flat springs made from corrugated-shaped steel wire, the free ends of which are fastened to the seat frame by means of support brackets which are designed to be integral with the springs. The support brackets form a triangle with the two free corners thereof being attached to the seat frame and/or a peripheral wire which is mounted parallel to the latter. Each flat spring preferably has at either end oppositely aligned diverging sections whose free ends are integrally connected together. Since the flat spring and support bracket are already made in one piece, they can be easily fitted in the seat frame when required.
