The holder has at the back a distance pin whose axis passes through the triple prism optical reference point. A dioptre as a view finder is connected with the housing, and its exit ray is so deflected by an oblique mirror, that it runs parallel with the distance pin axis. The front and back dioptre points and the distance pin axis lie in a plane, which can be made vertical. The distance pin serves as a handle, has a conical free end and is exchangeable. The mirror is set at 45 deg. to the pin axis, and is inserted between guiding bars, rigidly mounted in the housing.
