The segmented wheel runs in the hollow space of a housing the individual blades of which have a sealing fit to the housing as in 2350033. The hub shaped centre piece of the segmented wheel is rigid and the blades, angularly curved, have a rotatable bearing around bolts extending parallel to the longitudinal axis, with the bolts attached at least at one end to a side plate turnable and drivable around the longitudinal axis of the wheel. During rotation of the plate the flexible blades are pressed under spring pressure against the housing inner wall at least during part of rotation and alternately against the outer wall of the hub shaped centre piece.
