<p>The bin is used as a container for domestic rubbish bin with a shovel acting as the lid. There is a slot of triangular section which is located on a hinge pivoting the rear top edge of the bin. The shovel is placed with its edge engaging firmly in the slot in the hinge device so that it forms a hinged lid and is upside down when lowered to close the lid. Assembly can be metal or plastic. The handle of the shovel sticks out at the front, acting as the handle of the lid, and upturned edges of the shovel fit closely over the outside of the edges of the top edges at the front and sides of the bin.</p> |
