<p>A detachable and independent unit is enclosed in a housing which can be placed against the higher part of the bath's interior and which provides a sound signal at the completion of filling to a desired level. The housing (1) is separated into two compartments (3, 4). In the lower compartment (3) is a free float (5) and the base of this compartment has holes (7) through which the water can penetrate when it reaches the base (6) and thus cause the float to rise. The top part of the float is fitted with a magnet completing an electrical circuit in the top compartment (4) of the housing (1) and thus activating an acoustic warning device (8). A battery (P) of typically 4.5 volts provides the necessary electrical power.</p> |
