PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system which allows for construction of a dedicated shelf for article management, by using an existing article management shelf, without introducing a dedicated article shelf anew.SOLUTION: An article management system is constituted of an article shelf having first and second shelf plates made of a metal or having a function for reflecting radio waves, an article group mounted on the first shelf plate while facing the side faces each other, while pasting an UHF band RFID of a passive system to one side face of the article, a leakage coaxial cable located between the article groups while suspended from the lower surface side of the second shelf plate, and performing the transmission of a collation signal to an article and the reception of a response signal from an RFID on the article side, a reflector disposed around the article shelf, and reflecting the radio waves leaking from the leakage coaxial cable, and a reader/writer device connected with the leakage coaxial cable and processing the transmission and reception signals with the RFID.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
