Container apparatus including a cradle for a flexible transporting container in the form of a bag having a tube-like bottom foldable over and across the bottom area of the bag and upwardly along a first wall thereof. The cradle comprises a section extending from near the top of the bag down along a wall thereof over the bag bottom to extend therewith upwardly along another wall, another section overlying said other wall near the top of the bag, and releasable latch means coacting between the cradle sections releasably to secure these sections together. The latch, when securing the sections together, prevents the bag bottom from straightening out to discharge material from the bag when the latter is supported by means of the cradle.
