Air conditioning filter of polyurethane fluoride foam - esp for aircraft has open pore structure giving low flow resistance

An open-pore foam filter, offering low flow resistance to air, is intended for removing toxic substance originating from the skin or exhaled breath, and gases which corrode metals; the open-pore foam is of polyurethane, fluoride, esp. contg. fine activated carbon particles embedded ultrasonically into the dividing walls between pores. The filter is used for air purificn., esp. in aircraft, in air-conditioning plant and in the protection of sterilised rooms. The pressure drop of air flowing through the foam is very low.
