PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode roll press device which allows for noncontact removal of a foreign matter on the roll surface, even if the foreign matter adhering to the roll surface of a press roll is a part of an active material layer.SOLUTION: An electrode roll press device 10 including a pair of press rolls 17, 18 rotating relatively each other, and pressing an electrode sheet 11 between the pair of press rolls 17, 18, while conveying the electrode sheet 11 where the opposite sides of a strip metal foil are coated with an active material, further includes a voltage application mechanism 21 for applying a voltage to the pair of press rolls 17, 18, air knives 27, 28 provided while directing the gal outlets 29, 30 toward the roll surfaces 19, 20 of the pair of press rolls 17, 18, and a suction mechanism provided while facing the suction ports 33, 34 to the roll surfaces 19, 20 of the pair of press rolls 17, 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
