Exhaust gas vol. controller for oil-heated hot water plant - has flap throttle in exhaust gas pipe, controlled by thermostat

Controller for the exhaust gas vol. of burners for water heating plant, esp. for oil burners, has a throttle flap in the exhaust gas connection. The flap is adjustable by a thermostat acted on by the temp. of the operating water of the plant; the thermostat moves the flap in the opening direction when the operating water temp. falls below a preset value. Preferably the thermostat simultaneously switches the fan of the burner. The flap is operable by an electromagnet, which can be switched by the thermostat. Heat losses are minimized, and fuel use is reduced.
