A shell holder accessory for a hand loading press is disclosed. The holder comprises shell rim support surfaces, primer slots and wall surfaces including an arcuate wall in a base member for embracing a shell neck in cooperation with a pivotally and retractably mounted jaw means. A spring provides for the retractable jaw movement and a pivot pin arrangement enables the pivotal jaw mounting. Flat face wall and pointed extensions are integrated into the base member for interaction of the shell neck for retractable movement of the jaw during shell admitting and expelling from the holder.
