PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing occurrence of ribbon wrinkles.SOLUTION: A printer has a conveyance section, a printing section, a take-up side motor, and a control section. The conveyance section conveys a sheet. The printing section performs printing on the sheet using an ink ribbon. The take-up side motor rotates a take-up shaft of taking up the ink ribbon. The control section controls the motor with a first torque when a predetermined condition is not satisfied, and controls the motor with a second torque when the predetermined condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
