PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an optical scanner that scans laser beams emitted from a plurality of light sources with one polygon mirror, and can reduce the size in a sub scanning direction and simplify the configuration; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A first reflection mirror 75 inclines with a main scanning direction as the axis of rotation and inclines with a sub scanning direction as the axis of rotation to reflect respective laser beams. A second reflection mirror 76 inclines with the main scanning direction as the axis of rotation and inclines with the sub scanning direction as the axis of rotation to reflect the respective laser beams reflected on the first reflection mirror 75 toward a polygon mirror. An aperture 78 is arranged between the second reflection mirror 76 and the polygon mirror, and includes an opening 781 that restricts the width in the main scanning direction of the respective laser beams reflected on the second reflection mirror 76. A unit housing 60 includes an attachment part that allows a movement of the aperture 78 in the main scanning direction, and has the aperture 78 bonded and fixed thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
