摘要 <p>A titanium alloy with good creep resistance and ductility up to 600 degrees C contains in % wt. 5.9-6.3 Al; 0-2.5 Sn; 0.5-1.5 Zr; 0.8-1.2 Mo and 0.2-2.2 Sb. At most the alloy contains 0.12% O2; 0.15% Fe and 0.05% N2. A preferred alloy contains in % wt. 6.25 Al; 0.4 Sb; 0.5 Zr; 1 Mo and 0.1 Si with at most 0.1 Fe and 0.102. The Sb + Sn should preferably not exceed 3%. Especially preferred alloys contain the elements above such that the equation: % Al + % Sn/3 + % Sb/2 + % Zr/6 + % Si.4 =8is satisfied. Also % Sn/3 + % Sb/2 preferably is less than or equal to 1.1. The alloy avoids the use of bismuth as creep resistance improver and replaces it by antimony. Bismuth is volatile and requires special handling techniques which are avoided using the alloys noted above.</p>
