<p>The electrical switch or other similar installation, has a pivoted operating member and one or more spring loaded sleeves fitting into tubes in the operating member. The sleeve guides a contact rocker pivoted to the base of the switch. The sleeves spring and the sleeve itself are inserted into the tube either together or separately. The guide sleeve has a widened inner end and is pushed into the tube far enough for this widened end to be inside the tube. The lower end of the tube is then compressed radially so that the sleeve is held inside it and is free to slide up an down against its spring.</p> |
