<p>The flange (1) on the pressurised vessel has a large pitch multi-start, female thread and at the base of this, a sealing force with toroidal sealing ring (6). Below this sealing force, connecting the inside and outside of the vessel, and with an internal extension into the vessel, is a pressure relief screw (5). The cover (2) has a mating male thread and a small inward extension (4), positioned so that, when the cover is in place and the pressure relief screw screwed in, the extension is trapped by this screw. This prevents the removal of the cover with pressure in the vessel. The cover is screwed down by means of a cross bar (3) fixed to its upper surface.</p> |
