Profiled half-fairing for motorcycle - with angled subsection to hold instruments in direct viewing position

The fairing is made from a main sheel which has a profiled windscreen bolted or rivetted to it. An inner section is made separately to bolt or rivet into position on the inside of the main cowl. The inner section has tapered outer ends to conform with the cowl shape and central section inclined to face the driver square on. The central section has cut-outs for instruments and indicators so that the driver can see these without bending forward and losing concentration of the road. The whole assembly is made up of simple mouldings, and also damps out vibration effects on the instruments.
