Support for live underground rails - with jaws holding rail via intermediate hollow bodies of plastic material

Live rail support, esp. for underground rails, has clamping jaws for holding the rail on a supporting body via elastic hollow intermediate bodies of an abrasion resistant plastic, esp. polyamide. Enables the rails to slide in the lengthwise direction while avoiding play of the rails within the support. The plastic intermediate body can be produced with high accuracy and a smooth surface.
