<p>A wall cladding system using large cladding panels, employs I beams as vertical supports, with rows of holes down their supporting faces, across which angle irons can be attached horizontally by hexagonal headed bolts. These horizontals form supports which fit into horizontal grooves across the rear faces of the panels. Two adjacent panels are then pulled against the abutting face of an I beam by clips which bridge the gap, and through which pass threaded rods which engage pads of the face of the I beam at one end, held in place by nuts screwed onto the other end. The gaps between the panels are then covered by V section flexible capping strips which are pressed in position.</p> |
