<p>A remedial, or medical treatment chair by means of which the position between the upper and lower parts of the body can be adjusted, incorporates in the seat two panels of steel or plastics material designed to maintain the back and seat portions at the required angle in different desired positions, without effort, resulting in a common pressure on the back and seat. The seat is maintained in equilibrium by calculating the size of the panels and the angle between them. The seat can then be moved forward or backwards on rollers or wheels attached to the panels, and may be moved along rails or tracks.</p> |
