Attachment of cap to top of boundary markers - is by two horizontal pins at right angles

The cap on top of boundary markers is fixed very simply by means of two pins in the form of a cross and with a close fitting cover to prevent ingress of rain. A metallic support with a cross shaped profile has a pointed base to facilitate entry into the ground. The blades (2) are cut and bent into claws (3) to retain the support in the ground. A cap (1) is placed at the top of the support and holes (6) in the blades (2) take two pins (4) at right angles. Thee pins may be plastic or metal which can be welded in position. A cover (5) is dovetail fitted to the cap to prevent rain penetration.
