Seed drill machine for producing individual seed grains with the aid of a periodically moved individualiser separator where a measured valve generator is connected with the separator and counts its periods as a measure for the number of produced seed grains. The valve generator is in the form of an electrical contact giver, which is controlled by control marks on the separator. Specifically the contactor is acted upon by one end of a mechanical tappet, whose other end is acted upon by the control marks which can be measuring grooves in the surface of the separator. Alternatively, the contactor can be a magnetic switch and the control marks can be permanent magnets.
