Rocker switch with one-side pivot rocker - has swivelling plunger on rocker coacting with snap-action switching element

The key plate of the installation switch is pivotally mounted about a stationary axis at one of its ends. A plunger is swivably mounted on the plate and cooperates with a snap-action switching mechanism which is tiltable in two end positions in the swivelling direction of the plunger. The rotary axis of a switching element is located of a secant of a circle of the plunger rotary point on the key plate about the point of the stationary rotary axis for the key swivel. The line between one intersection point of the secant and the centre point of the circle corresponds to the starting position of the key plate, while the other intersection point corresponds approximately to the key plate stroke in the dead point position of the snap-action switching mechanism.
