At least one further transistor is provided in each output transistor control circuit in addition to a driver transistor and its base is connected to the tapping of a voltage divider which is connected to the battery centre tapping trough a load resistor. It is also connected to the corresponding outer terminal of the battery. The collector-emitter paths of the additional transistors lie in the output circuits of the driving transistors. The bases of the additional transistors can also be connected to the battery centre tapping through the load resistor and another component, e.g. a Zener diode, and to the battery corresponding outer terminal.
