<p>The interconnecting cover plate is used for underfloor cable systems and is open at both ends to allow it to connect to cable ducting. Two flexible conducting strips protrude out of the cover plate and each is connected to one side wall, while two sets of locking flaps also protrude from the ends of the cover plate and they are fixed to the large upper face of the plate. Sockets to receive plugs can be mounted on the large face of the plate. The cover plate can be used for ducting of various widths and therefore reduces costs.</p>
