<p>An active carbon filter has interchangeable elements and the thickness of the active carbon can be varied. The filter incorporates guide-blocks in which the filter elements slide. These guide-blocks can be in metal, plastic or other material and can be vertical or horizontal. The filter elements can be of different thicknesses and the carbon elements can be replaced by elements made of porous material. The filter can be taken to pieces and each element replaced easily and cheaply. It can be made more efficient by reducing or increasing the thickness when required, is gas-tight and robust, and can be made in all sizes.</p> |
