Reduction of outside interference in language teaching - with damping or disconnection of connection between head-set and microphone

The electrical connection made between the head-set and the microphone of a learning booth is damped or disconnected by a resistance according to the operating mode concerned. The same can apply to the connection between the head-set and microphone of a teaching desk. The teacher head-set is not connected to the teacher microphone together with a learning booth until duplex communication with the learning booth in question is intended. The pupil's microphone can be disconnected automatically during the listening phase by the content of the scanned signal. Room noise is thereby shut out from the microphone and pre-amplifier.
