Hook and adjuster for braces - has flat hook fitting in loops of braces strap

The hook (3) is rectangular and is slightly longer than the width of the strap of the braces (1). It has a lateral hook (4) which engages in a fixed loop (5) of one strap (2), the part which supports the loop being convex. The hook is joined to the other strap (1) by an adjustable loop (8) which passes through a slot (7), the slot and the inside of the lateral hook being equal in length to the width of the straps. The adjustable loop (8) is adjusted and immobilised by clips (9, 10) which pivot at the top and are fixed to the free extremity of the loop.
