The box acts as an insert for a cube shaped container, being particularly for the transport of unfilled tubes as used in the pharmaceutical industry, and comprises a series of compartment walls at right angles to each other and of carboard or similar material, fitting together by means of slots extending for half the height alternately from the top and bottom edges. The sections of the wall (9) between each two slots (6) in one set of walls (2), are attached by a folding joint to the walls in the other set (1) where these pass through them. The sets of walls can be joined together by permanently plastic gluing components (11), preferably of latex.
