PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusing resin particle which enables a light diffusing film to be pasted on another optical film without using an adhesive tape, and which can minimize optical defects, such as light leakage, by providing a plurality of different domains within the particle.SOLUTION: The above problem is cleared by providing a thermally adhesive light diffusing resin particle which is obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer in the presence of thermally adhesive thermoplastic resin, has a sea-island structure comprising islands of a polymer, derived from the vinyl monomer, scattered in the sea of thermoplastic resin, and exhibits thermal adhesiveness and light diffusivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
