1419215 Perambulators PEREGO-PINES SpA 1 May 1974 [25 Jan 1974] 19135/74 Addition to 1341670 Heading B7B In a baby carriage a handle 3 is pivoted towards the front wheels 5<SP>1</SP> to a folded position and a linkage arrangement interconnecting the handle 3 and front and rear lower frame members 1, 2 causes the rear wheels 5 to be moved to a position adjacent the front wheels 5<SP>1</SP>. To fold the carriage rings a are released from the upper ends of lower frame members 1 and pivotal movement of handle 3 towards lower frame member 1 causes rod 8 to move downwardly causing member f, through the bushing 11 to slide down the frame member 1. The member 9 is pulled so that a pin V, Fig. 5, secured to frame 2 moves to the opposite end of a slot 9a against the bias of spring 10 and further downward movement of member f brings the frame members 1, 2 substantially parallel to one another. A foot board 7 pivoted about front wheel axis 6<SP>1</SP> has a slot 7b which receives a rod 7a pivoted to frame member 1 and movable in the slot to enable the board 7 to be folded manually. |
